Everything your client needs, in one private place.
Those who carry the most are often the last to receive proper care. Not for want of means, but of privacy. Montrose Retreats provides both.
One guest at a time
We accept a single guest at any one time. This is a clinical decision, not a comfort. People who have spent years guarding how they are seen do not speak freely where they might be observed, and treatment cannot begin until they do.
With no other guests, no group sessions and no timetable written for someone else, the guarding can stop.
A complete team, under one roof
A multidisciplinary team of clinicians works around the guest: medical, psychiatric, psychological, nursing, nutritional and physical care, coordinated by one clinical lead. A private chef and a dedicated driver complete the household.
Nothing needs to be arranged elsewhere, and no one outside the team needs to be involved.
Understanding before treatment
At this level, arriving undiagnosed is the norm rather than the exception. Capability, resources and the people around a principal can mask a great deal for a long time.
We begin with a thorough assessment, so that care is built on what is actually happening, not on a label given in haste or not given at all.
Care that respects a working life
Principals have businesses, families and obligations that do not pause. Where it serves recovery, we make room for them, within limits agreed with the clinical lead.
Where stepping away completely is right, we make that possible.
Clinical rigour, quietly delivered
Montrose Retreats operates under the clinical governance of Montrose Health Group, registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The clinical standards are those of a leading independent hospital. The setting is a private residence.
Beyond the stay
Before departure, we agree a plan for continuing care and coordinate it with the guest’s own physicians and with you where the guest wishes, whether they live in the UK or overseas.
