Dr. Katy
Consultant Psychiatrist & Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Katy chairs Montrose’s Advisory Board and oversees the clinical and strategic development of the service. A consultant psychiatrist specialising in rehabilitation, she leads our interdisciplinary team of specialists and is dedicated to ensuring the company delivers its regulatory and operational objectives through gold-standard care.

Dr. Ola
Addictions Specialist & Lead Consultant Psychiatrist
An Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in psychiatry at the University of Sheffield, Dr. Ola is a Consultant in General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry with over 30 years’ experience. His specialism in the diagnosis and treatment of addictions and associated co-occurring mental health difficulties informs the comprehensive and customised treatment plan he creates for each guest.

CEO & Registered Manager
With over 10 years of experience working in the private health and wellness sector, Jonathan Edgeley’s primary purpose is to help people to get well and stay well. He ensures that every aspect of Montrose’s care provision is an exemplary model of best practice. Jonathan’s forte is working with HNW individuals and families, navigating them through times of change.

Clinical Director and Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Martha Harrison is committed to the notion of therapy as a lifelong venture of self-exploration, using innovative methodologies which allow guests to reconnect with themselves as well as their loved ones. Her approach encourages a focus on the authentic self, fostering a deep connection to personal values and supporting guests to make sustainable changes that allow them to be the very best version of themselves.

Chief Operating Officer
A highly experienced senior manager within the property and land development sector, Peter Burrows oversees the operational structure of Montrose's digital and technology infrastructure. With more than 10 years’ experience in recovery, Peter is passionate about assisting families and their loved ones on their journey towards treatment and recovery.

CQC & Service Development Manager
Stuart Green supports our CEO and COO to oversee the day-to-day operations of the service and maintain the highest quality care. With extensive experience in leadership and clinical operations management in both the public and private sector, Stuart has spoken nationally and internationally, notably at the UN in Austria, about strength-based recovery.

Dr. John
Private G.P.
A person-centred general practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, Dr. John O’Connell specialises in mental well-being and exercise physiology, with a keen focus on helping guests develop a tailored approach to achieve optimal physical and mental health. Working closely with other members of the MDT, he ensures each guest receives unparalleled bespoke care. Dr. John is a Clinical Partner.

Vanessa
Psychotherapist
Vanessa D'Arcy has more than 25 years’ experience working with trauma, eating disorders, and addictions. She brings an intuitive understanding of our guests’ individual needs, employing a range of treatment modalities to create a unique psychological programme that works for them. Her integrated approach includes EMDR, solution-focused work, NLP and clinical hypnotherapy

Donia
Psychiatric Nurse
Donia Ive is a registered psychiatric nurse with over 10 years’ experience. She began her career working in a specialist alcohol and drug detox setting and has a special interest in trauma-informed practice. She has worked in a multitude of settings, from G.P. surgeries to urgent care services, and has experience of live-in detox nursing. An empathic and attentive presence, Donia’s first priority is always her guest’s well-being and safety.

Florence
NMC Registered Nurse
Florence is an NMC Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber, Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP), Nutritional Therapist, Nutritionist and Herbalist with vast clinical experience in the UK since 2005. She has experience working in the field of mental health, addiction and detoxification. Her clinical interests lie in the exploration of root causes of mental health conditions and addiction, and in designing psychological and biomedical protocols that consider the individual, their unique circumstances and needs. She has also trained under the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Recovery Case Manager
Through his own lived experience, Marlon Hulme’s passion and purpose is helping others to live a life without limitation. He dedicates his time to providing a productive and supportive experience for each guest, helping them to find focus and motivation. Marlon's coaching style is person-centred, offering practical guidance when it comes to navigating life on life's terms.

Recovery Case Manager
Sarah McGoldrick is a recovery consultant who specialises in people overcoming addictions. She works with guests to provide flexible, creative support as they take their first steps in recovery. Her knowledge and skills help guests to work through their experiences in a safe and effective way, offering non-judgemental empathy and compassion each step of the way.

Recovery Case Manager
Phillip Evans is a highly effective communicator and listener with 27 years’ experience at the highest level within the financial services industry. He marries his first-hand experience as a consultant in the upper echelons of the corporate sector with his strong 12-step recovery programme, helping guests to face life’s challenges with inner strength and resilience.

Paddy
Therapist
As a counsellor and psychotherapist, Paddy Gallagher has specialised in addiction, trauma and recovery for over 15 years. He offers a safe space for guests to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours connected to their life experiences. Working collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team, Paddy creates a nurturing environment where guests are empowered to make transformative changes.

Damian
Therapist & Life Coach
Damian Grainer is a highly-qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor who specialises in work around adverse childhood experiences and trauma, problematic life transitions and addictive and compulsive behaviour. With a strong focus on direction and purpose, Damian works with guests to develop a personalised programme that allows them to achieve both short- and long-term goals.

Craig
Massage Therapist
With 18 years’ experience as a Soft Tissue Therapist, Craig Foden is also an affiliated tutor with the Massage Training Institute and sits as their representative the UK Council for Soft Tissue Therapies. Attuned to all aspects of our guests’ physical needs, Craig is trained in a range of modalities which he draws upon to create a bespoke programme for each guest.

Yoga Teacher
Jane Collins has been teaching yoga since 2002 and trained extensively in Hatha Yoga, Anatomy and Physiology as well as Fertility and Postnatal Yoga. Jane offers each guest a fully-customised and adaptable programme based on their mental, physical and emotional needs. Jane’s warm and nurturing approach helps guests to re-balance their inner strength and develop clarity of mind.

Stephen
Meditation Teacher
Stephen Givnan has practised and taught Buddhist meditation, psychology, and philosophy for 30 years, dedicating his life to helping others to cultivate their own meditation practice to enhance their daily lives and find true inner peace. Guests are introduced to practical methods for transforming their daily lives through Stephen’s carefully curated programme of meditation.

Al
Outdoor Experiences Manager
Al Cash is an experienced mountaineer, caver and outdoor practitioner, and a passionate believer in the healing power of nature. Utilising the exquisite natural landscape of the Peak District National Park in which our UK headquarters is based, Al crafts bespoke physical programmes that broaden guests’ horizons, allowing them to see beyond their physical and emotional limitations.

Maria
Sound Bath and Reiki practitioner
A qualified Yoga instructor since 2017, Maria Atherley has since broadened her therapeutic skill set to include Reiki and Sound Bath. She works with guests to create a personalised programme that can help to heal family trauma, addiction, anxiety and depression. Maria provides an immersive experience to help to relax and restore, creating a sense of deep inner peace and stillness.

Chef
Emma Glossop is a French-trained chef with over 30 years’ experience, including 10 years on private sailing yachts around the world. Emma is passionate about using locally-sourced produce and works closely with our nutritional therapist to create beautiful and nutritious dishes that support each individual guest’s physical and mental well-being.

Jaqui
Relationship Therapist
Jaqui is a relationship therapist with many years experience working with individuals and couples. She has level I, II and III Counselling skills, a Certificate in Relationship Therapy and a Postgrad Diploma in Couples Therapy. She is trained in systemic, psychodynamic and psychosexual work and has previously counselled at Relate and within private practice. Jaqui has personal experience of the 12 steps and will work with individuals, couples, and families within the 12-step framework of addiction to help heal and improve relationships.
