CEO & Registered Manager
With over 10 years of experience working in the private health and wellness sector, Jonathan Edgeley’s primary purpose is to help people to get well and stay well. He ensures that every aspect of Montrose’s care provision is an exemplary model of best practice. Jonathan’s forte is working with HNW individuals and families, navigating them through times of change.
Dr. Ola
Addictions Specialist & Lead Consultant Psychiatrist
An Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in psychiatry at the University of Sheffield, Dr. Ola is a Consultant in General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry with over 30 years’ experience. His specialism in the diagnosis and treatment of addictions and associated co-occurring mental health difficulties informs the comprehensive and customised treatment plan he creates for each guest.

Clinical Director and Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Martha Harrison is committed to the notion of therapy as a lifelong venture of self-exploration, using innovative methodologies which allow guests to reconnect with themselves as well as their loved ones. Her approach encourages a focus on the authentic self, fostering a deep connection to personal values and supporting guests to make sustainable changes that allow them to be the very best version of themselves.
Jamie
Registered Manager & Lead Nurse
Jamie Argent has worked in substance misuse since 2003, qualifying as a nurse in 2011. He has worked in a variety of roles such as rehab, detox, community and criminal justice services all over the UK and beyond. His most recent role was as a Nurse Manager in a busy community substance misuse service, co-ordinating a team of 10 nurses to provide exemplary care to 1000 people. He is very excited to join Eleven Recovery and continue to deliver the very highest standard of clinical care.

Head of Operations
Cathy Hinsley has over 20 years’ experience of HR and Operational business management across many industry sectors. She is also a qualified Recovery Coach having trained to help others following her own personal journey in recovery. Cathy works closely with all teams to ensure the safe and smooth running of both our multi-occupancy rehab centre and our bespoke 1-2-1 retreats.

Stuart Green supports our CEO and COO to oversee the day-to-day operations of the service and maintain the highest quality care. With extensive experience in leadership and clinical operations management in both the public and private sector, Stuart has spoken nationally and internationally, notably at the UN in Austria, about strength-based recovery.

A person-centred general practitioner with over 20 years’ experience, Dr. John O’Connell specialises in mental well-being and exercise physiology, with a keen focus on helping guests develop a tailored approach to achieve optimal physical and mental health. Working closely with other members of the MDT, he ensures each guest receives unparalleled bespoke care. Dr. John is a Clinical Partner.

Therapist
Steve Styan has been practicing for 25 years in various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Systemic Psychotherapy, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT). He has specialist interests in complex trauma, addictions, anxiety, panic, phobias, and obsessional compulsive disorder (OCD). His work encourages clients to explore, connect and better understand their thoughts, feelings and emotions in a way they can make continued and sustained changes.
Jaqui
Relationship Therapist
Jaqui is a relationship therapist with many years experience working with individuals and couples. She has level I, II and III Counselling skills, a Certificate in Relationship Therapy and a Postgrad Diploma in Couples Therapy. She is trained in systemic, psychodynamic and psychosexual work and has previously counselled at Relate and within private practice. Jaqui has personal experience of the 12 steps and will work with individuals, couples, and families within the 12-step framework of addiction to help heal and improve relationships.

Stephen Givnan has practised and taught Buddhist meditation, psychology, and philosophy for 30 years, dedicating his life to helping others to cultivate their own meditation practice to enhance their daily lives and find true inner peace. Guests are introduced to practical methods for transforming their daily lives through Stephen’s carefully curated programme of meditation.

Yoga Teacher
Jane Collins has been teaching yoga since 2002 and trained extensively in Hatha Yoga, Anatomy and Physiology as well as Fertility and Postnatal Yoga. Jane offers each guest a fully-customised and adaptable programme based on their mental, physical and emotional needs. Jane’s warm and nurturing approach helps guests to re-balance their inner strength and develop clarity of mind.

Massage Therapist
With 18 years’ experience as a Soft Tissue Therapist, Craig Foden is also an affiliated tutor with the Massage Training Institute and sits as their representative the UK Council for Soft Tissue Therapies. Attuned to all aspects of our guests’ physical needs, Craig is trained in a range of modalities which he draws upon to create a bespoke programme for each guest.

Sound Bath and Reiki practitioner
A qualified Yoga instructor since 2017, Maria Atherley has since broadened her therapeutic skill set to include Reiki and Sound Bath. She works with guests to create a personalised programme that can help to heal family trauma, addiction, anxiety and depression. Maria provides an immersive experience to help to relax and restore, creating a sense of deep inner peace and stillness.

Through his own lived experience, Marlon Hulme’s passion and purpose is helping others to live a life without limitation. He dedicates his time to providing a productive and supportive experience for each guest, helping them to find focus and motivation. Marlon's coaching style is person-centred, offering practical guidance when it comes to navigating life on life's terms.

"During my career in hospitality, substance abuse and addiction were not uncommon, so when I learnt about the work being done at Eleven and Montrose Retreats, I immediately wanted to get involved." As a chef, James Nixon's job is to provide nutritious and sustaining meals to ensure clients have the energy and vitality for their day-to-day activities, whilst also being delicious and interesting. Being able to support people's recovery whilst doing something he loves is a great motivator.

Nutritionist
Nicola Newton is a registered Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath and Health Coach who is passionate about empowering individuals to lead a healthy and fulfilling life through adequate nutrition. Her passion for nutrition comes from her own experience of poor health and journey back to wellness using nutrition alongside lifestyle modifications. She has a special interest in the negative effects of trauma on health and is committed to ongoing self-development and further training in order to provide the latest evidence-based advice and support.

Recovery Case Manager
With an extensive background in addiction, recovery, and psychology, Rob De Freitas passionately believes in the capabilities and potential of some of the most outcasted members of society. The gift of recovery has afforded him a level of life that he and many others never envisaged - happiness, serenity, and productivity. He believes everybody who has fallen to mental health and addiction issues deserves the opportunity to hold love and respect for themselves. Recovery makes that possible.
Katya
Psychotherapist
Katya Sommer is an Integrative Art Psychotherapist with a specialist interest in treating trauma. Art therapy helps individuals express themselves and explore difficult thoughts and feelings. It supports individuals through times of emotional stress, providing an active therapeutic practise that enables positive change. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Therapy (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TCBT), and Child Accelerated Trauma Treatment (CATT). Katya is currently in the process of completing her Compassionate Focused Therapy facilitator training, having completed yoga teacher training in India.
